As qualified photo-journalist, Kokolo worked during 1987-88 for the newspapers 'Kya' and 'Le Point Congo' (Kinshasa). His photos have also been published in the magazine 'Echos Militaires'. He covered the war of the "Libération" of Congo in 1977. More work was published in various papers and magazines:'La Palmarès', 'Le Potentiel', 'Libération', 'Référence Plus'.
